American Pest Management offers advancement opportunities both within the technical ranks and into management. We have more Master Technicians on staff than any other pest control company in the state.  



Free Training

You don’t have to have any pest control experience to start a career with us. If you’re willing to learn, we’re willing to teach. We also have multiple Associate Certified Entomologists on staff to provide leading technical support

Work-Life Balance

At American Pest Management, supporting our employee’s family is a priority. We do this by providing flexible schedules in many situations. We also provide techs with company vehicles to maximize their time with their families. Most employees choose to work five 8 hour days but we do have some situations where employees have been granted four 10 hours day weeks.

Time Off

We offer a generous vacation policy with extended paid time off given between the Christmas and New Years holidays. A new technician will earn 8 hours of PTO per month once trained.

Health

A bonus is provided each month for team members who exercise on a regular basis.

Salary

We have competitive salaries and are above average in the earnings for our technicians. A career at American Pest Management can start at $30,000 for someone with no experience.

Insurance

We offer great health insurance and 75% of the cost is covered by the company for the employee.

Retirement

A 3% company match is deposited into a Simple IRA for qualifying employees.

Our employees are in almost constant contact with each other through our company’s internal chat system. It’s there to receive assistance, congratulate team members, share knowledge, and even take some photos of some unique pest situations for everyone to learn from.

Pest Control may not be glamorous and shiny, but it’s necessary. Pest control stood strong during COVID-19 and is in the midst of a period of substantial growth. In order to meet the needs of our local communities, new opportunities will continue to open up for those interested in entering the pest control industry.
