Joey Hoke, 2017 Technician of the Year

We are very proud to announce that we have a celebrity amongst us at American Pest Management Inc. Our very own Technical Director, Joey Hoke, was awarded the 2017 PCT Magazine Commercial Technician of the Year. His love of defining and then defeating a problem remains a hallmark of Joey’s career.  “Always be willing to learn,” Joey says. This determination is what has allowed Joey to work his way through the ranks from a general pest control technician to commercial technician, supervisor, and currently is lead trainer and technical director at APM.

Joey was a member of the inaugural Kansas Pest Control Association’s Master Technician class that is taught in conjunction with K-State. He is one of just 14 people in Kansas to earn Associate Certified Entomologist status. He earned that in 2013.

His love of learning has propelled him to lead by example as he continues to share his pest control knowledge with colleagues.

In addition 2 other American Pest Management, Inc. technicians were awarded Finalists in the 2017 PCT Magazine Technician of the Year Awards.  Dave Gonser, Clay Center, was one of 5 finalists nationwide in the Residential Technician Category.  Doug Nold, Manhattan, was one of 3 finalists in the Termite Technician Category.
